Gosnells City Tourism :: Sites and Locations...
Tourism in Gosnells has been shaped by the European pioneers who first settled here with land grants in 1829 taking advantage of the rich soils and abundance of water from the Canning River.
The name Gosnells came from a prominent London businessman Charles Gosnell.
From very harsh beginnings the next 180 years has seen Gosnells grow and prosper into a very interesting place and today City of Gosnells has a pleasant blend of urban and rural lifestyles.
Being one of the first areas to be settled in Perth there are numerous historic sites to visit as well as parks, walks, picnic areas, and nature walks.
The Association has shown great interest in Tourism supplying our members with as much information as possible and can be found on our website.
